The news of a new full carbon road bike to replace the Pro Machine on the top step was only meant to be released at Eurobike.

But it has now been released (early) to Cyclingnews.com and bikeradar.com.

The SLR01 frame will be the new top of the line road model from BMC and will be priced similar (but just slightly higher) compared to the Pro Machine. Lighter, stiffer and more comfortable then the much respected Pro Machine – it is going to be one amazing frame.

First deliveries of the SLR are expected to be late February/March, those with pre-orders will get first available stock and stock will be very limited!

These wheels are used by numerous pros around the world.

The wheels are laminated as one piece with everything from rim to spokes to hub made from carbon fibre.

All this makes for the stiffest and lightest wheels available, and with their high rim profile and low number of spokes without nipples they are among the most aerodynamic wheels as well.
